Viene fornito con una estesa libreria di solvers, sempre ampliata, applicabile ad una generalit\u00e0 di problemi. Ovviamente ogni cosa ha il suo prezzo: come i principali software open-source non vi \u00e8 una <strong>interfaccia grafica<\/strong>. Ci\u00f2 significa che l&#8217;utente, per eseguire una simulazione, dovr\u00e0 editare un certo numero di file di testo, ognuno dei quali rappresenta un input per OpenFOAM.<\/p>\n<p>Ecco quindi che \u00e8 richiesta anche una certa abilit\u00e0 informatica per un utilizzo proficuo di tale applicazione, tanto pi\u00f9 se si considera che OpenFOAM rappresenta solamente il solutore CFD. Non contiene un meshatore al suo interno, o almeno non vi \u00e8 un meshatore avanzato e completo.<\/p>\n<h2>Entrare nel mondo OpenFOAM<\/h2>\n<p>Non bisogna disperare per\u00f2: passo passo \u00e8 sicuramente possibile inserire questo software per rimpiazzare quelli commerciali, \u00e8 necessaria della perseveranza e, probabilmente, un po&#8217; di formazione iniziale per capirne la logica e le potenzialit\u00e0.
