Gi\u00e0 in passato abbiamo affrontato come <a href=\"https:\/\/cfdfeaservice.it\/index.php\/2018\/03\/21\/come-scegliere-il-modello-di-turbolenza\/\">scegliere un modello di turbolenza<\/a> o un altro. Oggi vediamo meglio come impostarlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I dati fondamentali sono due:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Velocit\u00e0 -> detta anche bulk velocity,  \u00e8 la velocit\u00e0 caratteristica della simulazione<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Diametro_equivalente\">Diametro idraulico<\/a> -> identifica la dimensione dell&#8217;area &#8220;bagnata&#8221;.  E&#8217; una grandezza che identifica la dimensione caratteristica della nostra simulazione<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A partire da questi due dati si calcolano le principali variabili collegate ai modelli di turbolenza:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>k -> energia cinetica turbolenta in m2\/s2<\/li><li>epsilon -> dissipazione turbolenta in m2\/s3<\/li><li>omega -> dissipazione turbolenta specifica in 1\/s<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I modelli di riferimento sono <a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Modello_k-epsilon\">k-epsilon<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SST_(Menter%E2%80%99s_Shear_Stress_Transport)\">k-omega SST<\/a> che rappresentano i due modelli attualmente pi\u00f9 utilizzati in ambito industriale. I campi di applicazione di questo form sono innumerevoli: la turbolenza appare infatti in fenomeni riguardanti l&#8217;ingegneria meccanica, le costruzioni e anche i componenti micro-elettronici. Inoltre grazie al <a href=\"https:\/\/cfdfeaservice.it\/index.php\/cloud-hpc-cloud-computing\/\">cloud HPC<\/a> di CFD FEA SERVICE \u00e8 possibile sfruttare potenza di calcolo on demand per svolgere
